AI, Digital Economy and Remote Work Minister ,Omar Sultan Al-Ulamaa, visited Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) headquarters in Al Qudra.
Omar Sultan Al-Ulamaa reviewed DEWA projects in the field of digital transformation.
Furthermore, DEWA has presented its roadmap in the field of generative artificial intelligence.
And Also DEWA has overviewed its efforts to build a safe and reliable digital environment.
As well as its projects in the field of digital transformation and artificial intelligence applications.
Al-Ulamaa affirmed the following:
Under the leadership of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, and the guidance of Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, our country is adopting the transformative potential of generative artificial intelligence.
Surely this will help in shaping the future of the economy and promoting entrepreneurship.
As well as providing new opportunities that drives the wheel of development, progress and sustainable growth.
Which grants better future for the next generations.
For his part, the Chief Executive Officer of DEWA, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer who presented the Authority’s roadmap said:
“Our efforts are integrated to achieve the vision of H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE,
Along with the vision of his brother H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
In order to strengthen the position of the United Arab Emirates as the capital of innovation and creativity.
Also, to enhance its position as the center of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
In addition to building capabilities to confront the challenges of cyber security.”
The UAE had always been a leading country in the usage of AI to support the fields of clean tech, economy and business.
