Israel responded to the surprise attack with Operation “Iron Swords”, with intensive airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army also used artillery shelling and clashes with special forces, in order to regain what was besieged from the Israeli settlements.

As per reports of The Israeli Ministry of Health, Operation Flood of the Aqsa caused the killing of at least 300 Israelis.
It also caused the injury of more than 1,590 others.
While the Palestinian Health Ministry said at least 256 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.
The Israeli army said it had evacuated 10000 from the settlements.
Meanwhile, the fight between Palestinian and Israel continued in several areas around Gaza.
