Can Trump End Gaza War Before Reaching Presidency ?
A round of ceasefire talks about Gaza were held in Doha today, “Tuesday,” to finalize the remaining details of the agreement.
And reaching an agreement to end Gaza war is “closer than ever”.
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan announced on Monday that an agreement to cease fire and release hostages in Gaza is imminent.
And it may be finalized in the last week of Joe Biden’s presidency.
Sullivan stated:
“We are close to reaching an agreement and it may happen this week.
I am not making a promise or a prediction..
But the possibility exists, and we will work to make it a reality.”
Final Draft
Mediators have presented both Israel and Hamas with a “final draft” following a significant breakthrough yesterday.
Qatar provided both sides with a draft agreement during Doha talks.
This draft is a result of a breakthrough achieved in the early hours of Monday.
The talks continued until the early hours of Monday.
With Trump’s envoy Bannon urging the Israeli delegation in Doha to agree.
While Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani pushed Hamas officials to reach a deal.
The head of Egyptian intelligence, Hassan Mahmoud Rashad, was also in the Qatari capital for the talks.

Will Israel and Hamas Reach a Final Agreement in Qatar ?
Israel’s public broadcaster, Kan, quoted an Israeli official as saying that both the Israeli and Hamas delegations in Qatar had received the draft agreement.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar stated that the negotiations were being coordinated between the Biden and Trump teams.
He added, “There is progress, and it seems much better than before.”
An official in Hamas informed Reuters that “The negotiations have made progress on key issues.
And we are working to finalize the remaining details soon.”
While all parties are speaking of an imminent agreement to end Gaza war, given past experiences, the situation will not be clear until a final agreement is reached in Doha.
Perhaps even before Trump takes office.
