Flydubai continues to shine with special achievements in aviation, including global awards in aviation ceremonies.
During his presence at Aviation Achievement Awards ceremony, François Oberholzer, Flydubai CFO, stated:

Flydubai won two awards at the Aviation Achievement Awards ceremony 2025, including:
- “Airline of the Year” title for the second time.
- “Trailblazer for Outstanding New Service Launch” award.
Receiving the awards on behalf of Flydubai were:
- François Oberholzer, Chief Financial Officer
- Rashid Al Bushri, Vice President of Cargo
- Diana Sinclair, Vice President of Inflight Experience.
The ceremony was held in Dubai in the presence of representatives from the aviation, tourism, and travel sectors.
These awards recognize the airline’s achievements in the aviation industry.
They also reflected in its growing and diverse network.
As well as its continuous investment in enhancing customer experience both in the air and on the ground.

Achievements of 2024
Flydubai concluded 2024 with significant advancements in its products and services.
- In January 2024, the airline launched a multi-million-dollar fleet renewal program.
The program aimed at a complete cabin refurbishment for its 25 Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft. - In October of the same year, Flydubai inaugurated its new dedicated check-in facilities for Business Class.
- In December, the airline opened its new Business Class lounge at Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport.
