By the end of 2024, Flydubai expects to receive seven additional aircraft, further supporting its continuous network expansion.
New destinations, including Basel, Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius, will be added to the airline’s route map.

Al Ghaith emphasized the company’s commitment to growth, with ongoing recruitment efforts to add qualified professionals to Flydubai team.
This includes hiring pilots, cabin crew, engineers, and other positions across various departments.

140 Nationalities

The company currently employs over 5,800 staff members representing 140 nationalities, including more than 1,200 pilots.
Plans are in place to hire more than 130 new pilots by the end of this year.
In 2024, the airline hired over 440 employees, reflecting a 6% growth compared to the previous year.

Dubai remains an attractive destination for living and working, allowing Flydubai to attract talented professionals from around the world.

The airline uses multiple channels for pilot recruitment.
These channels include direct hires and candidates selected through promotional campaigns and various recruitment agencies.

Ambitious Plans

Flydubai also continues to focus on Emirati talent, aiming to employ young citizens and enhance localization efforts.

The airline provides professional training opportunities across its various departments, including technical and engineering roles.
Special programs are available for both Emirati pilots and employees in other company divisions to support future growth opportunities.

In a significant milestone, Flydubai placed its first-ever order for 30 Boeing 787 aircraft during the Dubai Airshow in 2023.
The airline also announced plans to establish new maintenance and training facilities, enhancing efficiency and reflecting the company’s maturity.

Flydubai remains committed to its ambitious plans, aligning with its pivotal role in supporting Dubai’s aviation sector—a city that stands as a global hub for air travel.
