The UAE field hospital in Amdjarass, Chad, has received 1,220 medical cases since its opening by 09 – July – 2023.
Noting that H H Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has instructed to build the hospital.
Meanwhile, the medical cases in the field hospital includes the below:
-65 orthopedic cases.
-104 surgical cases.
-1,051 internal medicine cases.
-10 operations were performed.
While the hospital is still hosting 10 patients to receive the necessary treatment to get well.
The UAE supports the Sudanese brothers by many ways since early April:
Meanwhile, the UAE continues its support for the affected Sudanese brothers due to the difficult humanitarian conditions caused by the conflict.
The UAE also aims to support the friendly Republic of Chad in response to the mitigation of the effects of the humanitarian situation.
Since the conflict in Sudan resulted in the influx of large numbers of Sudanese refugees to Chad.
From the beginning of the events in Sudan, the UAE has launched an air and sea bridge.
Which has transported nearly 2,000 tons of humanitarian aid.
The launched sea bridge has transported humanitarian aid to Port Sudan to support those affected in Sudan.
While the humanitarian aid by the UAE included various medical, food, and relief supplies.

Additionally, Republic of Chad airports have received humanitarian aid from the UAE.
And they are dedicated to support refugees from the Sudanese brothers.
Clearly, the UAE’s efforts to enhance security and political stability in Sudan have not stopped since the beginning of the conflict.
Furthermore, the UAE provided support for dialogue, negotiation, and reconciliation among the various parties in Sudan.
Besides that the UAE has always supported the international efforts to find peaceful and sustainable solutions for the humanitarian crises in Sudan.
