Abu Dhabi, the Emirati capital is preparing to host the Governance of Emerging Technologies Summit (GETS 2025).
The summit will take place on May 5 and 6 at the St. Regis Hotel in Saadiyat Island.
It is organized by the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) in strategic partnership with the Public Prosecution of the UAE.

His Excellency Faisal Al Bannai, Advisor to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs and Secretary General of ATRC, highlighted the importance of aligning innovation with regulatory wisdom, stating:
“Creativity without ambitious governance lacks sustainability.
Through GETS 2025, the UAE reaffirms its belief that technological leadership must be accompanied by ethical and inclusive policies that build trust and enhance global human progress.”
His Excellency Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, UAE Attorney General, emphasized the importance of this phase, saying:
“In light of the global technological boom, we are responsible for building a smart judicial system capable of protecting rights and ensuring justice.

GETS 2025 summit takes place as the UAE accelerates its path toward digital leadership, supported by strategic investments exceeding AED 13 billion aimed at advancing AI and the digital economy, with a clear commitment to integrating AI into legislation, procedures, and government services.
