Emirates Airline has announced the launch of “Emirates Express Cargo Services”.
This strategic move aims at establishing a leading position in the rapidly growing logistics sector.
The service leverages the airline’s vast fleet, extensive network, and about four decades of experience in transporting passengers and cargo worldwide.
Huge Success for Emirates Express Cargo Services Trial Version
In a statement released yesterday, the airline confirmed that “Emirates Cargo Services” has successfully transported thousands of parcels over the past year.
Those parcels were from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
The results have been exceptional, with an average delivery time of less than 48 hours.
All of this makes the service fully operational, particularly for businesses.

Badr Abbas, Senior Vice President of Emirates SkyCargo, stated:
“Emirates Express Cargo Services marks a significant transformation in global parcel and cargo transportation.
Setting new standards of speed, reliability, and efficiency.”
This is Just the Beginning…
He added:
“By utilizing our robust global infrastructure and our flexibility in redesigning traditional logistics operations, this innovative service not only upholds Emirates’ gold standard of reliability and excellence but also sets new industry benchmarks.
This is just the beginning of our vision to drive continuous innovation and establish leadership in express cargo services.”

Abbas further explained that “Emirates Cargo Services” will revolutionize the sector.
Traditionally, cross-border parcel deliveries involve multiple stopovers before reaching their final destination.
However, this new service aims to eliminate unnecessary delays by offering direct, streamlined deliveries.
Initially, Emirates Express Cargo Services will operate in seven key markets, including:
- United Arab Emirates (UAE)
- Saudi Arabia
- Bahrain
- Kuwait
- Oman
- South Africa
- United Kingdom (UK)
These markets were chosen based on high demand for express cargo services and Emirates’ strong logistics infrastructure in these regions.
The service is expected to expand to more destinations in the future.
