
Sharjah Crown Prince chairs the Meeting of the Executive Council
On Tuesday, in the presence of H.H., Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), the Executive Council meeting in the office of the Sharjah Ruler began. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sharjah’s Deputy Ruler and SEC Deputy Chairman also attended the meeting.
What was the Executive council meeting about?
In order to achieve comprehensive growth for the Emirate, the Council addressed a range of significant government problems and ways of improving the job structure in local authorities, agencies and departments.
The Council wished to congratulate H.H. At the inauguration of the Mahani Sector, Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and all people and residents of the Emirate, will represent one of the pillars of the Sharjah Emirate’s energy and gas supply.
The Executive Council approved the first batch of land grants for 2021, totaling 1,110 plots among beneficiaries in different cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, as part of the Directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, aimed at providing a decent life for people of the Emirate of Sharjah and providing protection and family stability.
The Council has reviewed the Department of Economic Development (DED) study on the Sharjah Foundation’s economic indicators to promote entrepreneurial ventures (Rowad). The report discussed the efforts of the Foundation to foster entrepreneurs and provide a suitable atmosphere that promotes innovation and excellence.
The memorandum submitted by the Department of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs on the growth of urban appearance in different cities and regions of Sharjah was discussed by the Council, in particular those relating to abandoned and tattered buildings.
The Council also addressed a variety of topics pertaining to the Emirates’ foreign relations, taking appropriate decisions on them.
