Get ready for UAE Pro League 2024-25 season
UAE Pro League has approved the dates and times for the preliminary round of “ADIB Cup”.
Along with the first two rounds of “ADNOC Pro League” for the new 2024-2025 season, which will start on August 17.
UAE Pro League will announce the dates and times for the remaining rounds of both competitions later.
This will be based on the scheduling of our clubs’ external participations, which will be clarified by the end of August.
Great start for ADIB Cup
The new season will kick off with the preliminary round matches of “ADIB Cup” on August 17.
According to the draw results organized by UAE Pro League on July 6 at “Abu Dhabi Energy Center” in Abu Dhabi.
Hosted by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), the official sponsor of ADNOC Pro League.
The preliminary round matches will be played over Saturday and Sunday, August 17 and 18.
- On Saturday evening, Baniyas will face Dibba Al-Hisn at Baniyas Stadium.
- Al-Orooba will play against Al-Nasr at Dibba Stadium at 6:05 PM.
- Khorfakkan will meet Sharjah at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium at 8:45 PM.
The preliminary round will continue on Sunday evening, August 18, with matches between:
- Al-Jazira and Al-Bataeh at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.
- Kalba and Al-Ain at Kalba Stadium at 6:05 PM.
- Shabab Al-Ahli will face Ajman at Rashid Stadium at 8:45 PM.
ADIB Cup Return Leg on September
The return leg of the preliminary round will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 7 and 8, with matches between:
Dibba Al-Hisn and Baniyas at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium, Al-Nasr and Al-Orooba at Al-Maktoum Stadium, Sharjah and Khorfakkan at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium on Saturday, September 7.
Al-Bataeh and Al-Jazira at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium, Al-Ain and Kalba at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, Ajman and Shabab Al-Ahli at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium on Sunday evening, September 8.
ADIB Cup system involves 12 teams in the preliminary round.
They will play two knockout matches to advance to the quarter-finals.
Joining Al-Wasl, the champion of last season’s ADNOC Pro League, and Al-Wahda, the champion of the last ADIB Cup, who are directly qualified for the quarter-finals.
ADNOC Pro League
UAE Pro League announced that the first round of ADNOC Pro League will start on Friday evening, August 23, with matches between:
- Al-Orooba and Al-Nasr at Dibba Stadium, Al-Wahda and Ajman at Al-Nahyan Stadium at 6 PM.
- Kalba hosting Al-Wasl in the “evening match” starting at 8:30 PM.
The first round will continue on Saturday evening, August 24, with four matches:
- Shabab Al-Ahli vs. Al-Bataeh at Rashid Stadium, Baniyas vs. Al-Jazira at Baniyas Stadium at 6 PM.
- Dibba Al-Hisn vs. Sharjah at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium, Al-Ain vs. Khorfakkan at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium at 8:30 PM.

Continuous Excitement
The excitement of ADNOC Pro League by UAE Pro League will continue with the second round matches on Thursday and Friday, August 29 and 30.
Thursday’s matches will feature:
- Al-Wasl vs. Dibba Al-Hisn at Zabeel Stadium, Al-Jazira vs. Al-Orooba at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium at 5:55 PM.
- Al-Nasr vs. Baniyas at Al-Maktoum Stadium, and Sharjah vs. Kalba at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium at 8:30 PM.
The second round will conclude on Friday evening, August 30, with matches between Khorfakkan and Al-Wahda at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium, Al-Bataeh vs. Al-Ain at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium at 5:55 PM, and Ajman vs. Shabab Al-Ahli at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium at 8:30 PM.
