Erada Rehabilitation Center in Dubai announced its cooperation with the University of Colorado School of Medicine (CU Medicine).
Erada Rehabilitation Center is concerned with the development of therapeutic and rehabilitation programs.
University of Colorado School of Medicine (CU Medicine) is one of the best universities in the United States.
Due to its distinguished group of professors, doctors and specialists in a large number of medical specialties, including “Treatment of addiction”.
Erada Center is implementing the recommendations of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai to launch an effective preventive program.
In cooperation with CU Medicine, Erada Center held a scientific workshop to discuss the application of best practices.

With the participation of a number of concerned entities, including:
-Dubai Health Authority.
–Emirates Foundation for School Education.
-Dubai Health Academy.
–Board of Anti-Narcotics.
-International Protection Center.
-Federal National Council.
-The Community Development Authority.
The workshop’s outputs resulted in the formation of a joint high committee with the concerned entities to implement an early detection.

On this occasion, H.E Abdulrazzak Amiri, the Executive Director of the Erada Rehabilitation Center, confirmed the following:
“The cooperation with one of the world’s most prestigious entities in therapeutic and rehabilitation programs will enhance the quality of services provided at the center.
In addition to contributing to the development of an integrated and effective preventive program.
In order to reduce the scourge of addiction by explaining the best methods of prevention.
Also the early intervention and treatment of drug disorders for adolescents and adults.
And the ways to build clinical skills to enable workers in the concerned sectors to deal with cases of addiction”
Amiri added that there is close cooperation between the Erada Rehabilitation Center and the Dubai Health Academy in this field.
Erada Center in cooperation with CU Medicine trained 30 doctors from the Dubai Health Academy specialists in training on early detection and intervention methods.
It is noteworthy that the Erada Rehabilitation Center in Dubai has received this year the international accreditation from CARF.
So it became the first accredited center for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with addiction in the UAE.
And the second in the Middle East, meeting the highest quality standards accredited by the American institution.
Which are based on the quality of therapeutic programs, support services, and infrastructure that the center provides.
Surely this reflects on the outputs of the services provided.
Also this accreditation is considered the highest levels of accreditation for centers for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with addiction.
