Emirati Women’s Day to be Celebrated by Expo Dubai on August 28, with an extensive creative program at the Women’s Pavilion.
Including the opening of a digital exhibition highlighting the contribution of Emirati women to the arts.
In collaboration with Khaleej Art Museum, the first digital museum to exhibit works by artists and photographers from the GCC Countries and residents.
Special Women influencers will attend Emirati Women’s Day in Expo Dubai.
Moreover, the pavilion will host a special event with singer and songwriter Sarah Al Hashimi.
As well as the researcher and poet Dr. Afra Al Atiq.
In fact, there will be a free public entry to the pavilion, including the Gulf Art Museum fair.
Which highlights the UAE’s achievements and ambitions in the field of women’s empowerment, from 12:00 to 8:00 pm.
Emirati Women’s Day is an opportunity to highlight the UAE’s global leadership in women’s empowerment and discuss what needs to be done in this area.
Furthermore, this year’s theme, “We Cooperate for Tomorrow,” is in line with 2023 as the Year of Sustainability in the United Arab Emirates.
It also highlights the importance of women’s empowerment in combating climate change.

Marjan Faridoni, Head of Education and Culture at Expo Dubai, said:

We also believe that the only way to achieve prosperity and sustainability for all is through the full and equal participation of women.”

The Gulf Art Museum Fair, which runs until September 11, features:
–Maitha Demithan, known for using scanning techniques.
–Rawda Al Mazrouei, whose surrealist oil paintings intersect with contemporary Arab art.
-Photographer Alia bint Sultan Al Joker, whose work merges the identity of the UAE in the past and present.
–Fatima Al Fardan, who explores themes of femininity, hierarchy, and absurdity.
