
Department of Culture & Tourism announced Emirati Talents Programme
The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture & Tourism announced the return of the Emirati Talents Programme, which it previously launched, to discover and use young national cadres in various sectors of its work in order to achieve its vision of the sustainability of the tourism sector with Emirati hands.
Emirati Talents Programme Initiative
The programme is witnessing a series of innovative activities during which the candidates take part in several activities and workshops to learn about the potential of the next generation of Emirati talents.
In its first version, the initiative achieved amazing success after it received 500 job applications, several of them were appointed in the department’s work sectors.
Currently, the department will open the door for registration in the initiative until December 5, to be followed by several events that will take place during the week that begins on December 13.
The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture & Tourism seeks to recruit new employees at the end of the first quarter or the beginning of the second quarter of the new year.
Emirati Talents Programme Topics
The programme is divided into four principal topics: ability, creativity, community, and empathy. The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture & Tourism subjected the second batch of those wishing to apply to work with it to a set of tests as a first evaluation step in this path, and the participants were enrolled in four departments and functional teams, namely project management, Creativity, customer management, research and analytics, and initial remote interviews.
Final candidates will be invited to take part in the activities organized by the department virtually, to see how their performance and skills are in line with Abu Dhabi Vision 2030, besides the presentations made by the talent acquisition team in the department.
Acting Executive Director of the Support Services Sector at the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, His Excellency Saeed Ali Obaid Al Fazari, said that honing the experiences of Emiratis and their aspirations to achieve success in the public and private sectors is a fundamental pillar of the UAE‘s vision to improve its human resources and is an integral part of its strategy circle.
