Beirut port received a relief Emirati ship, carrying 2,000 tons of urgent aid supplies for Lebanese people.
As part of “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign, which started this October.
This Emirati ship is part of the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian support for the Lebanese people during the current crisis.
Following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and under the supervision of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
As well as Sheikh Diab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the International Humanitarian Affairs Committee.
Relief Emirati Ship Arrives To Beirut Port
In this regard, His Excellency Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development and International Organizations and a member of the International Humanitarian Affairs Committee, said:
“These new aid supplies reflect the UAE’s commitment to stand with the Lebanese people in these difficult times.
The Emirati ship carried 1,000 tons of food supplies, in addition to 1,000 tons of shelter materials.
Bringing the total aid sent so far to 2,610 tons.”

He added: “These efforts to enhance the urgent humanitarian response reflect the leadership’s deep commitment to meet the Lebanese people needs.
It also embodies the UAE’s noble human values of solidarity, cooperation, and support for the Lebanese brothers.”
It is noteworthy that the UAE has launched “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign on October 4 to support the Lebanese people.
This is in response to the current situation and under the directives of UAE President.

1,300 Tons of Relief Supplies Collected by “UAE Stands with Lebanon” Campaign
So far, the UAE has sent 14 planes.
These planes are sent in cooperation with the World Health Organization, UNICEF and UNHCR.
As well as the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
Additionally, the campaign has collected 1,300 tons of relief supplies.
Mentioning that 24 Emirati charitable organizations and thousands of volunteers participated in this campaign.
Exemplifying the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian solidarity and cooperation.
