Emirati Education Day: A Commitment to Lifelong Learning
In celebration of Emirati Education Day, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum highlighted the nation’s remarkable progress in education sector.
From a single university graduating 472 students to over 80 universities producing tens of thousands of graduates annually, the UAE has built a thriving academic ecosystem.
With more than 1,000 schools educating 1.7 million students, education remains at the core of the UAE’s development strategy.

Honoring Educators and Their Role in Society
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, expressed his appreciation for teachers who dedicate themselves to shaping future generations.
This was during a meeting with active and retired Emirati educators.
His Highness has also emphasized the importance of their role in instilling national values and cultural identity in students.
To further support educators, Sheikh Hamdan announced the launch of a permanent platform for discussions between educators in the private sector and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

Dialogues of Inspiration
The platform name is “Dialogues of Inspiration”, and its goals as below:
- Developing Emirati educators’ skills
- Ensuring their career growth for educators
- Achieving Dubai’s education strategy 2033
Additionally, KHDA will implement a training and mentorship program connecting active Emirati teachers with retired educators.
So they can exchange expertise and enhance professional capabilities.
