Emirati Children’s Day is all about recognizing the rights and well-being of children in the United Arab Emirates.
This event is celebrated on March 15, as directed by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima, President of the Supreme Council for Childhood and Supreme Chairperson for Family Development.
The main goal of Emirati Children’s Day is to raise public awareness about children’s rights.
In order to ensure they have a safe, healthy, and supportive environment to grow in.
This year’s theme, “The Right to a Sustainable Environment,” emphasizes the importance of safeguarding the environment for future generations.
UAE President Marks Emirati Children’s Day With Special Post
HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed reaffirmed the the significance of nurturing youngsters, he posted on his X account:
“The UAE believes in the importance of caring for children by continuing to invest in their development.
On Emirati Children’s Day, we reiterate our belief in the future of our children by nurturing and protecting them.”
Dubai Residency Makes a Child’s Dream Come True
Dubai Residency celebrated Emirati Children’s Day with a special initiative that fulfilled a young child’s dream.
Moreover, the child got a unique opportunity to work as a passport control officer at Dubai Airport for a day.
GDRFA Dubai assisted the child in stamping children’s passports and observing travel procedures and verifications.
This heartwarming initiative embodies GDRFA Dubai’s dedication to making children happy, inspiring them, and motivating them to achieve their dreams.

Al Ain Zoo has also created an initiative on this occasion, kids under the age of 12 can enter the Zoo for free on Friday.
Children can see the animals and attractions without paying, Al Ain Zoo confirmed in a social media post.
The UAE has always supported childhood in all the possible ways believing that they are the creators of the future.
