Emirates SkyCargo prepares for massive distribution mission of COVID-19 vaccine

The role of Emirates SkyCargo will be to transport COVID-19 vaccines from manufacturing sites around the world, then store shipments and prepare them for regional and global distribution.

Emirates SkyCargo is the largest air facility

Simple Flying pointed out that according to Emirates SkyCargo, the network covers all major pharmaceutical complexes and manufacturing sites, and that the dedicated shipping centre located in South Dubai, in World Central, will be the largest air facility in the world dedicated to COVID-19 vaccines. It will feature more than 4 thousand square meters of temperature-controlled drug storage areas certified by European Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for medicines, and a capacity of 10 million vaccine vials at once.
