Emirates Red Crescent Delivers Medical Supplies to Lebanon’s Red Cross
Emirates Red Crescent has a long history of providing humanitarian assistance to Lebanon.
The organization has provided aid in response to a number of crises in Lebanon, including:
- Lebanon War in 2006
- Beirut bombing in 2010
- Beirut port explosion in 2020
ERC also works to implement development programs in Lebanon.
This is by building schools and hospitals, and providing food and water assistance.
Emirates Red Crescent pays great attention to humanitarian and development programs in Lebanon
Emirates Red Crescent has delivered a large quantity of medicines, equipment, and medical supplies to the Lebanese Red Cross.
The aid was delivered in the context of the second cooperation and humanitarian partnership between the two sides.
Moreover, the medicines and medical supplies arrived in Beirut on a special plane carrying dozens of tons of these materials.
A delegation from Emirates Red Crescent discussed with officials of the Lebanese Red Cross cooperation and coordination in areas of common interest, and the needs of the Lebanese arena for humanitarian and development assistance, especially in the health field.
ERC works through its office in Beirut to expand programs beneficiaries scope.
