The Emirates Red Crescent launched the Eid Al Adha Campaign for 2019. The campaign was launched at its new headquarters in Abu Dhabi under the theme “Eid is on Us”. The new campaign looks to support needy families in the region by allocating money worth AED 5.6 million. The budget is estimated to benefit about 223, 419 people.
The Deputy Secretary-General of Local Affairs at the Emirates Red Crescent, Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri, said that under the directives of the leadership, the launch of the Eid Al Adha campaign was initiated and the campaign would be initiated both inside and outside the country. It would be benefitting close to 40,000 people in the United Arabs Emirates and also other beneficiaries in 78 nations.
He said that the launch of the Eid Al Adha campaign for 2019 coincided with the initiative of the Emirates Red Crescent for Year of Tolerance. The Year of Tolerance initiative has been witnessing support from different charitable people and donors from different segments of communities in the UAE.
The humanitarian initiative of the Emirates Red Crescent in UAE and outside have progressed in terms of quality and quantity with the support offered by its humanitaria partners and the charitable residents and citizens of the UAE.
