The Emirates Red Crescent Continues to Provide Humanitarian Aid to the People of Gaza
The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has continued to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
As part of “Chivalrous Knight 3” humanitarian operation launched by the UAE to support the Palestinian brothers.
The number of beneficiaries of the aid, which included the distribution of food parcels, bags for women and children, and tents, reached 311,730 beneficiaries.
The ERC has also operated 11 charitable kitchens.
Which distribute food to displaced people in the governorates of Rafah, Khan Yunis, and the Center.
UAE Initiatives to support Gaza People
The UAE, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, has been quick to provide humanitarian aid since the events in Gaza erupted.
His Highness directed the provision of urgent assistance worth $20 million to support the Palestinian brothers through the UNRWA.
In addition to the hosting of 1,000 Palestinian cancer patients from Gaza to receive treatment in the State’s hospitals.
The State also launched “Tarahum for Gaza” campaign to provide aid to the Palestinian brothers affected by the war in Gaza.
And also sent urgent medical and humanitarian assistance.
The UAE has launched “Chivalrous Knight 3” humanitarian operation on November 5, 2022.
In order to provide humanitarian support to the Palestinian people in Gaza.
This is in embodiment of the values of solidarity and cooperation with them.
“Chivalrous Knight 3” humanitarian operation
This operation included establishing a comprehensive field hospital in Gaza.
As well as the establishment of 6 desalination plants with a total capacity of 1.2 million gallons per day.
Which are pumped into the sector and benefit more than 600,000 people.

The ERC, as part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3”, also launched a humanitarian convoy of aid to the people of Gaza.
Which is part of its annual winter campaign “You Are the Warm Hands”.
The convoy includes about 1.65 million pieces of winter clothing and blankets to keep warm against the cold.
The United Arab Emirates, through its humanitarian and charitable institutions, continues to provide various forms of support to the Palestinian people.
