Emirates Red Crescent Continues Distributing Aid in Gaza

Emirates Red Crescent New Initiative distributes 1,650,000 pieces of winter clothing and blankets in Gaza.

The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) distribution of food and relief supplies in Gaza Strip reached 132,883 people.
This is part of the “Chivalrous Knight 3” humanitarian operation, launched under the directives of H.H Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to support the Palestinian people.

The ERC teams distributed 6,700 pieces of clothing.
Including 3,220 winter jackets to residents of several areas in the Strip.
As well as 1,334 food parcels, 592 health parcels for women, 617 health parcels for children, 578 tents, 250 sleeping bags, and 58 baby diapers.

The ERC teams also installed 25 searchlights in the shelters.

As part of its humanitarian relief efforts, the ERC continued to operate 28 charity kitchens that produced 13,280 meals, benefiting 53,120 Palestinians.

The ERC also continued to implement the subsidized bread project in 7 bakeries.
Which produced 2,235 loaves of bread, benefiting 22,350 people.

The ERC had launched a humanitarian aid convoy for the residents of Gaza Strip within its annual winter campaign “You Are the Warm Hands”.
The convoy includes about 1,650,000 pieces of winter clothing and blankets.

Emirates Sends Humanitarian Aid To Ukraine

Today, the UAE sent an airplane carrying 55 tons of relief and medical aid to assist the Ukrainian People.
This aid comes as part of UAE’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the humanitarian impact on Ukrainians.

The supplies will be sent through Poland for further transportation into Ukrainian territory.

It is worth mentioning that since the beginning of the crisis, the UAE has provided urgent relief supplies to those affected in Ukraine.
Including US$100 million to Ukrainian civilians.

The UAE also launched an air bridge of relief aid.
Which consists of essential food items, medical supplies, generators, ambulances, and other medical and educational supplies.
Additionally, they sent planes carrying relief supplies to Ukrainian refugees in neighboring countries such as Poland, Moldova, and Bulgaria.
