The Minister of Energy and Industry, Suhail bin Muhammad Faraj Fares Al Mazroui, said that the Emirates Manufactures portal platform aims to support the health security system in the country by monitoring the national medical factories and their products related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He called on the national factories concerned with registering on the Emirates Manufactures portal platform, praising the great flexibility shown by the national factories in re-employing their production lines and raising their production capacities to meet consumer requirements and needs during the “Corona” crisis, which did not have a great impact on the sustainability of the availability of products in the state’s markets.

Osama Amir, Assistant Undersecretary for Industry Affairs at the Ministry of Energy and Industry said that the first stage of launching the Emirates Manufactures portal platform aims to provide decision-makers and buyers with a list of vital products for the COVID-19 pandemic and information to communicate with national factories, provided that upon completion of the production capacity data, And that it be an effective link between the national factories and buyers from inside and outside the country.
