Among these events is “After Hours,” held at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City.
This event adds a vibrant richness to the festival’s main program.
As it offers audiences a variety of activities, including:
- Exciting sessions
- Music, arts, free comedy shows
- Thrilling games and delicious food experiences
Attendees can join writer, historian, and comedian Shubhda Das in a smart, fun-filled session that revolves around the idea of Western civilization and its surrounding contexts.
While media personality and social media influencer Harshita Gupta will reveal ways to regain strength and rebuild oneself with love and compassion.
Especially in the face of disappointments.
Talks and Discussions
Furthermore, there will be rich talks and discussions at the event, featuring three prominent writers:
- Ahmed Al Sadiq
- Hessa Abdullah
- Rasha Sameer
They will share their literary visions of blending fiction with reality and explore the power of storytelling in evoking history and legends.
Emirates Airline Literature Festival will also feature bubble shows outside the “Reading” caravan of Emirates Literature Foundation from 6 PM until late at night.

Adam Meezy, the “Charmant Dhol Tasha Pathak” Indian folk arts troupe, Hadi Jibril, the “Zaroony and Friends” band, and singer “ReRe.”
Playing with Reality
In the session “Playing with Reality,” Kelly Clancy will reveal the importance of games.
As well as their power to influence how humans navigate and position themselves in the world.
The “Super Heated Neurons” company will provide opportunities to enjoy their various games during the festival.
Crime We Wrote
The audience can “control the details of the story” in the session “Crime We Wrote” with M.J. Arlidge, where the renowned writer and screenwriter will create a new crime novel live on stage. Emma Dabiri will offer deep insights into the concepts of “body” and “beauty.”

In the session “Inventing Good and Evil,” author Hanno Suhr will provide a sharp look at some of the most significant moral changes that shaped human history and how humanity invented concepts of good and evil.
In another session, Danabelle Gutierrez will offer non-professional but fun advice related to love and modern life.
While Mamdouh Hamada and Ahmed Al Sadiq will discuss how to confront reality through “black comedy” in a special event,
At the end of the weekend, the audience will enjoy performances by Dubai Police Band.
Followed by singer Junior Brown and renowned guitarist Paulo, who will present a unique blend of rock, soul, and R&B music on stage.
