Emirates First Dedicated Lounge at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah
Emirates has opened its first dedicated lounge in the Middle East outside of Dubai at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
The 900-square-meter lounge is located in the departure area of Terminal 1 and can accommodate up to 196 guests.
The lounge is designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience for First and Business Class passengers, as well as Skywards Platinum and Gold members.
Amenities include leather seating, TVs, work stations, shower suites, a buffet with a variety of local and international cuisine, and a wide selection of beverages and desserts.
35-year relationship with Saudi Arabia
The opening of the lounge is part of Emirates’ commitment to Saudi Arabia and its 35-year relationship with the country.
Emirates currently operates three daily A380 flights to Jeddah.
It also has carried over 30 million passengers to and from the Kingdom since it began operations in 1989.
Emirates first dedicated lounge is located on the third floor of Terminal 1, near departure gates A28B and A38B.
The lounge is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Mentioning that the access to the lounge is complimentary for First and Business Class passengers.
As well as Skywards Platinum and Gold members.
Guests can also purchase access to the lounge for AED 650 (approximately USD 175).
New Quality Service
In this occasion, Mohammed Mattar, Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, commented:

So it’s fitting that King Abdulaziz International Airport.
A world-class facility is the first airport in the region outside of Dubai to feature an Emirates dedicated lounge.”

Mazen Joha, CEO of Jeddah Airports Company, stated:
