Emirates and Bahrain Ended Up the 11th session of the Joint Higher Committee with 5 MoUs.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, chaired the 11th session of the UAE-Bahrain Joint Higher Committee.
While the Bahraini side was chaired by Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain Minister of Foreign Affairs.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the depth of Emirati-Bahraini relations and their deep historical roots.
The late Sheikhs Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, may God have mercy on them, were the founders of these relations.
While Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa have completed the journey of joint work and achievement.
“Emirates has always seen its sister Bahrain as a strategic partner.
And also an integral part of the progress and prosperity of the Arab Gulf and the entire region,” Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed said.
He added:
“Our non-oil bilateral trade (in goods) has achieved remarkable growth in recent years.
Reaching a value of about $7 billion in 2022.
We also look forward to continuously strengthening our bilateral relations in various fields.
Including trade and investment, education, culture, renewable energy, financial technology, tourism, health.
In addition to working together within the integrated industrial partnership that Emirates has launched with Bahrain, Jordan, and Egypt last year.”
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed stressed the importance of enhancing the levels of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

He also witnessed the signing ceremony of 5 memorandums of understanding between the two countries.

- MoU between the Federal Authority for Human Resources, and the Civil Service Bureau in Bahrain.
- MoU between the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs in Bahrain.
- MoU between the Ministry of Education and Nasser Center for Vocational Rehabilitation and Training in Bahrain.
- MoU between the United Arab Emirates University and the University of Bahrain.
- MoU between Dubai Future Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade Bahrain.
In conclusion, His Highness, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, thanked the Bahraini Foreign Minister and the delegation participating in the committee’s work.
