Emirates Airlines, the world’s largest international airline, has recorded one of its strongest summers ever in terms of passenger traffic.
Since it carried over 14 million passengers with an average seat load factor of over 80% on its global network between June and August 2023.
Also the booking trends for the coming months are positive.
Due to the fact that airline expecting continued strong demand for international travel on its global network.
Dubai has also maintained its strong appeal among travelers during the summer months.
Over two million customers coming to the city to enjoy its attractions and events that take place throughout the year.
The top markets from which Dubai visitors came on Emirates flights during the summer months are as follows:
-the United Kingdom.
-India.
-Germany.
-Pakistan.
-Saudi Arabia.
-China.
-Egypt.
-Kuwait.
Families accounted for more than 35% of Dubai visitors on Emirates flights.
Also their average stay was over two weeks to enjoy the city’s amazing events, sites, and attractions.
Emirates airlines expects another surge in demand for travel to Dubai in the upcoming winter season.
As Dubai city hosts global conferences, exhibitions, and world-class sporting events.
Dubai has already received over 8.5 million international visitors during the first six months of 2023.
An increase of over one million visitors compared to the same period last year.
Adnan Kazim, Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airlines, said:

Emirates carried over 14 million passengers between June and August 2023, on around 50,000 flights to and from 140 cities.
Thanks to its 157 airline partners and one train company.
In addition, Emirates airlines offers passengers convenient and extensive connectivity that goes beyond its own global network, to over 800 cities in 100 countries.
Here are the highlights of Emirates airlines operations this summer:
- Launched a daily service to a new destination: Montreal (Canada)
- Operated additional flights to meet summer demand to 12 cities:
Athens, Brisbane, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Amsterdam, Budapest, Bologna, Medina, Jeddah, Entebbe, Venice, and Shanghai. - Resumed operations of A380 aircraft with daily flights to Birmingham, Nice, Taipei, and Shanghai.
- Operated an A380 to Bali for the first time in Indonesia.
- Announced new and expanded codeshare arrangements with Kenya Airways, Air Canada, and Philippine Airlines.
- Operated its latest A380 aircraft with a four-class configuration, which offers premium economy seats to Singapore, Los Angeles, and Houston.
