Emirates Airline boasts a cabin crew team that has grown significantly over the years.
As of August 2023, the airline’s cabin crew numbers surpassed 20,000 members.
This diverse team represents over 140 nationalities and collectively speaks more than 70 languages.
To maintain high service standards, new recruits undergo an intensive seven-and-a-half-week training program at Emirates’ state-of-the-art facility in Dubai.
This training covers both theoretical and practical aspects, including sessions in full-motion simulators of the aircraft in the Emirates fleet.
All Emirates cabin crew are based in Dubai, where they receive company-provided accommodation and benefit from a tax-free salary, among other perks.
From this central hub, they operate flights to over 140 destinations across six continents.

Critical In-Flight Medical Intervention
In a swift and well-prepared response, the Emirates Airline crew played a crucial role in saving a passenger who suffered a medical emergency.
This was during a return flight from India on the 14th of March 2025, traveling from Delhi via Dubai.
Seven hours into the 20-hour flight, a passenger experienced lung complications, low blood pressure, breathing difficulties, and a heart issue.
High Medical Care by Emirates Airline Crew
Two doctors on board assisted by administering an intravenous drip, which helped keep the patient stable.
Meanwhile, Emirates Airline crew managed the situation.
They ensured the rest of the passengers remained calm.
One crew member held the IV bag for 13 hours, allowing the flight to continue without diversion, even while flying over water.
While attending to the emergency, the rest of the crew continued serving tea, refreshing cocktails, and meals, helping ease tension among passengers.
Upon landing, medical personnel, customs officers, and border protection authorities were ready to assist the passenger and provide the necessary care.
Passengers praised the crew’s professionalism, high-level training, and exceptional service, describing them as outstanding.
