New Flights By Emirates to Entebbe, Addis Ababa, and Johannesburg
Emirates Airline African network is supported recently by adding new flights to Entebbe -Uganda, Addis Ababa- Ethiopia, and Johannesburg-South Africa.
Since its first flight to Cairo in 1986, Emirates Airline has gradually expanded its African network to 20 destinations.
This is part of its plans for more regional connectivity and market development.
According to Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim, Africa holds a high priority for Emirates’ strategy.
As Emirates focus on growth and investment in the African continent.
The airline’s expansion in Uganda, South Africa, and Ethiopia will support its broader network.
By making stronger links between emerging economies in Asia and the Middle East.
What is Emirates Upgraded Plan For African Destinations ?
Starting from October 27, Emirates upgraded flights from Dubai to Uganda from five weekly trips to daily service.
This adds 718 seats per week on the Dubai-Entebbe route with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
The move aims to enhance passenger experience.
As Emirates offers first-class travel to and from Entebbe, including luxurious in-flight dining and entertainment options.
Emirates is also planning to increase flights to Ethiopia starting January 1, 2025.
By adding the fourth daily flight to Johannesburg from March 1, 2025.

161 Weekly Operating Flights on Emirates Airline African Network
Once fully implemented, the additional services will boost Emirates Airline presence to 161 weekly flights between Dubai and the various African destinations.
Mentioning that those additional flights by Emirates Airline on the African Network will make Dubai an essential travel hub for the continent.
Emirates has entered multiple interline partnerships to expand regional access, enabling seamless travel with a single ticket.
These partnerships, include a partnership with Royal Air Maroc.
According to Emirates partnership with Air Maroc, travelers can access to destinations such as Fez, Tangier, and Marrakesh.
Emirates’ cargo division also benefits from the added flights.
As they will enhance cargo capacity across Africa with scheduled freighter services to six destinations and efficient cargo management to meet growing demand.
