The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Committee of the Corona pandemic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Department of Health, has approved two types of checks for entry into the emirate, reinforcing the precautionary measures taken to contain infection and limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

According to the new procedures, which will be implemented, starting on Thursday, August 27, 2020, those coming to the emirate will be able to enter it within 48 hours of receiving a negative result for the examination of the nasal swab PCR.
Those coming to the emirate will also be able to enter it within 48 hours of receiving a negative result for the DPI laser examination, provided also a negative result of a previous PCR test that was conducted within 6 days prior to the date of entry.

The inactive COVID-19 vaccine phase 3 clinical trials
The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Committee also stipulated the rotation of the type of examination, so that the same examination is not repeated twice in a row within 6 days.
The volunteers in the inactive COVID-19 vaccine phase 3 clinical trials, and those who are allowed to use the emergency vehicle route to ensure easy mobility, are exempt from these procedures.
The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Committee affirmed that legal measures will be taken against those not complying with the measures and procedures related to limiting the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and fines will be applied to violators of these measures in accordance with the decision of the Attorney General.
The committee renewed its appeal to the community members to continue their cooperation and commitment to follow the preventive and precautionary measures.
The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Committee, in cooperation with the Department of Health and the concerned authorities in the emirate, will continue its efforts to build on the gains made, until the pandemic is completely overcome.
New Home Isolation Programme initiative
The Home Isolation Programme, under the supervision of the department of health of Abu Dhabi & SEHA, enables those who have tested positive for COVID-19 to safely recover in accordance with recommended health protocols, providing basic healthcare supplies, as well as high-quality service from partners
In cooperation with a number of partners, these services include the provision of daily meals, laundry services, waste management and home checkups. Patients are also in constant communication with healthcare providers to seek advice or ask queries.
