Following Elon Musk’s response, Emirati blogger Hamad posted a new tweet in Arabic and we translated it as below:
“Thank you all for your kind words and I hope to continue to live up to your good expectations.
This tweet is just one of thousands of tweets in various languages by tweeters from all over the world.
With a desire to help the vulnerable in Gaza by connecting them to the Internet.
It may be useful and Elon can help them, and Israel may prevent him from sending Starlink devices.
Which will need electricity anyway, which is not currently available in Gaza.
But what is important is that every voice makes a difference and every platform makes a difference.
It does not matter whether Elon or others respond to whom.
What is important is to convey the idea in a respectful manner and without offense, with the hope that it will be heard.
I ask God to enable us and you to do good”
In return, Shlomo Karhi , Israeli Minister of communication, threatened Musk to cut all ties.
While Musk defended himself saying:
“We are not so naive.
Per my post, no Starlink terminal has attempted to connect from Gaza.
If one does, we will take extraordinary measures to confirm that it is used *only* for purely humanitarian reasons.
Moreover, we will do a security check with both the US and Israeli governments before turning on even a single terminal.”
