Emirates Celebrates Eid Al Adha with Customers
Emirates is celebrating Eid Al Adha with its customers.
This is by offering a selection of special regional flavors on board its flights.
As well as new Arabic movies and TV series on its award-winning ice inflight entertainment system.
The airline is also offering a selection of handmade sweets from the renowned Emirati bakery “Home Bakery”.
Passengers in all classes on selected routes from June 16 to 19 will enjoy Eid sweets made by “Home Bakery” presented in a special box.
Home Bakery, founded by Emirati entrepreneur Hind Al Mulla, has been a favorite in Dubai for over 10 years.
It is also renowned for its delicious dessert and cake recipes.
Emirates Economy Class customers will taste delicious Eid dishes such as:
- Lamb tagine with apricots, potatoes, couscous, and white sesame seeds.
- Chicken kofta in tomato sauce with peppers and orange rice garnished with almonds
- Lebanese-style Dawoodi Basha consisting of chicken meatballs served with vermicelli rice.
Eid-themed desserts include pistachio cake covered with buttercream and pistachio sauce.
Or a delicious coffee cake with chocolate mousse and covered with Arabic coffee sauce.
Emirates First Class and Business Class customers will taste many special dishes such as:
- Traditional lamb shank in a spiced Moroccan sauce, with saffron rice, roasted vegetables, and harissa
- Slow-cooked beef short ribs in Emirati spices, with steamed rice and potatoes
- Shrimp marhaba with tomatoes, onions, and aromatic rice topped with toasted pine nuts.
Desserts include pistachio and chocolate namoura cake, white chocolate cake, and rahash mousse with roasted sesame seeds.
First Class passengers will enjoy carefully prepared dishes such as:
- Roasted chicken served with sumac and lemon sauce, roasted potatoes, and baked vegetables.
- Buried lamb, a classic roasted lamb dish with traditional spices, vegetables, and fragrant rice.
Eid sweets include honey and white chocolate cake, with a touch of English cream, or rich walnut baklava served with clotted cream.
Emirates will also offer a selection of Emirati pastries and Arabic coffee in the A380 lounge for First and Business Class passengers.

Eid Al Adha Entertainment Content
A wide variety of entertainment content will be available on Emirates’ award-winning ice inflight entertainment system during Eid Al Adha.
Up to 6,500 on-demand entertainment channels, including the best of Shahid and MBC.
In addition to over 2,000 movies from around the world, including over 100 Arabic movies.
New additions this month include films such as: 5 Mohy El Din Abu El Ezz, Behebak, Fadl Wa Ne’ma, Hagan, Soaad, Thaniya Waheeda.
There are also about 285 Hollywood movies translated into Arabic, including the latest releases, such as:
“Bob Marley: One Love”, “Land of Bad”, “Madame Web”, and “The Beekeeper”.
Along with 50 Arabic TV series channels, including: Amel, Kamil Al Adad, and many of the awaited series from Shahid such as:
Rose and Leila, Thanaweya Al Naseem, and Batn Al Hout.
Emirates customers can also enjoy 15 Arabic podcast and audiobook channels, the Holy Quran, and over 500 Arabic music channels, including pop, classical, Khaleeji, and Moroccan.
