During Eid Al Adha The UAE will witness a diverse range of celebratory heritage activities to spread joy and happiness among visitors and residents.
As His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed ordered to release 988 inmates from correctional facilities who were in jail for being charged in different cases.
Also, on the occasion of Eid Al Adha,the Community Of Development Authority launched a package of social activities and events.

Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director-General of the Community Development Authority, said:
“This initiative comes from the authority’s role in promoting cohesion and unity among members of the community.
And investing in all events and activities to raise awareness of local culture and national identity
And to integrate all segments positively and effectively”
She explained that receiving Eid celebrants in neighborhood councils contributes to emphasizing that councils are essential to attract neighborhoods.
The authority made sure to involve local production families that showcased their unique traditional products in these activities.
Including: sweets, incense, and perfumes that created a festive atmosphere for the occasion.
The main goal is to encourage production families to expand their businesses and promote their products during this occasion.
And in the volunteer framework, “Awnak Ya Watan” volunteer team has distributed “Eid Clothes” to orphans and underprivileged families.
Mentioning that this initiative was sponsored by Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Muslim bin Humaid Al Amiri, the team’s president.
The initiative aimed to provide assistance and support to needy families within the country, especially during festive occasions.
Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Muslim bin Humaid Al Amiri said:
“Eid Clothes” is an annual initiative that we work to sustain every year. As we are keen to address humanitarian needs and respond effectively to them.
To share the joy of Eid with families and children and to make this occasion happy in their hearts.”
