Eco-Friendly Apps to Support Sustainable Environment in the UAE launched by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi.
The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi have provided nine smart, eco-friendly applications designed to:
-Support farmers.
-Protect vegetation.
-Promote environmental tourism.
-Change the behavior of community members towards environment.
Moreover, the eco- friendly smart applications are the below:
-Environmental Tourism Application.
-Smart Environment.
-Giras.
-Sanyar.
-Mazarina.
-Sahaem.
-Bader.
-Abu Dhabi Nature.
The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment explained the following about the apps:
The Smart Environment application is the Ministry’s smart gateway.
Also it have several sections, including services, legislation and laws, jobs, and customer service centers.
Moreover, it allows users to view information and apply for services provided by the Ministry.
The Environmental Tourism Application has been developed to include videos, images.
As well as information about the protected terrestrial and marine areas in the UAE.
The application is available in Arabic and English to help everyone.
It also includes icons for the Ministry’s official accounts on social media, to enable users to visit those pages when needed.
The Ministry also talked about GeoEnvAE smartphone application.
As it provides a spatial information base that aims to provide customers.
Along with various segments of society with information related to the Ministry’s service centers.
Also spatial information at the level of the UAE such as:
The environment, biodiversity, reserves, in addition to statistical information about the agricultural sector.
Gras application supports the UAE’s efforts to protect vegetation.
In addition to its natural resources from the danger of extinction and pollution.
And also to achieve sustainable development through research, studies, and field surveys.
Sanyar application allows you to search for any address by a spatial number, address number, postal code.
Or the name of the place you want to find.

Through Mazarina application, the Ministry provides guidance information for farmers and livestock breeders.
With the aim of achieving sustainability in the agricultural and animal sectors.
The application also allows the user to communicate directly with experts in the agricultural and veterinary fields.
Saham application enhances the participation of volunteers in a series of projects that address environmental problems.
In ways that include formulating research questions, collecting and analyzing data, and making new discoveries.
It also provides the opportunity for Abu Dhabi residents to support the Authority.

In addition to other waste that end up in the marine environment throughout the year.
The Authority indicated that Bader application is a free, eco-friendly application.
Which is designed to change the environmental behavior of Abu Dhabi residents, citizens and residents.
Besides motivating them to be leaders in the journey of positive transformation.
Badr is also the first application of its kind in the UAE in terms of offering different incentives to participants in appreciation of their completion of one of 20 different environmental tasks.
Abu Dhabi Nature Eco-Friendly Application
The Environment Agency Abu Dhabi stated the below:
Abu Dhabi Nature application helps the public learn more about wildlife in Abu Dhabi.
In addition to record their sightings of terrestrial and marine species.
This free application is a tool that the Authority aims to use to enhance the knowledge of adults and children.
About more than 4,000 species of animals and plants that Abu Dhabi is home to.
It is indicated that users of the application can ask experts about the environment.
And surely the researchers and specialists at the Authority will respond to them.
The application also provides the Authority’s latest news about the biodiversity of Abu Dhabi.
It also provides information about the conservation of protected areas and environmental tourism sites in Abu Dhabi.
