Fujairah Air Navigation Services Announces New Service
Fujairah Air Navigation Services has launched a new online platform dedicated to facilitate the registration and issuance of drone permits.
This service will speed up the process and provide an integrated online interface.
That allows users to submit their applications and receive approvals instantly.
The authority clarified that this new service is available for institutions and companies.
Moreover, it simplifies procedures related to the use of drones in Fujairah’s airspace.
Those wishing to register their drones can submit flight permit applications.
They can also track their status electronically without the need for in-person visits.
Online Drone Permits Meet the Needs of Community
Karim Jalal Al Balushi, CEO of Fujairah Aviation Services, said:
“We are committed to providing innovative services that meet the needs of our community and keep pace with the rapid development in aviation technology.”
He added that the launch of online drone permits service is the first step among several initiatives.
Those initiatives will be announced soon to streamline processes and increase efficiency in handling applications.
He urged government, private entities, and individuals to take advantage of this service.
As it will enhance the safety of aviation operations and significantly speed up procedures.
He emphasized that this new platform will be an important addition to fostering innovation and development in the aviation sector in the emirate.
Airspace Management Improvement
On his part, Mohammed Al Shamsi, Director of Fujairah Air Navigation Services, stated:
“The electronic drone permits platform was designed to ensure transparency and ease of use.
Users can submit their applications through simple steps and obtain the necessary approvals in a short time.”
He noted that this service will contribute to improving airspace management in general.
It will also reduce the time required to obtain necessary permits.
