Dubai is one of the most visually appealing places on the planet.
A study conducted by global travel website, Big 7 Travel, has proved just that. It analysed hashtags on social media of a range of destinations, used audience survey results and votes cast by Big 7 Travel’s team to come up with a list of 50 of the world’s most Instagrammable places – and Dubai came third. The emirate scored higher than New York City, US and London, England, but fell just behind Hong Kong and Sydney, Australia, which came in at number one.
“The high-flying city of the UAE, Dubai is one of the most glamorous destinations you’ll ever visit,” wrote the Big 7 Travel team. “Burj Khalifa, an 830m-tall tower, dominates the skyscraper-filled skyline while traditional souks provide colourful photo opportunities.
In another post about Dubai, the Big 7 Travel team named the city’s 10 most Instagrammable locations. This included Miracle Gardens, Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, Burj Khalifa, Madinat Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab.
