Dubai Racing Club Partners with The Jockey Club
Dubai Racing Club has announced a new partnership with The Jockey Club.
Mentioning that The Jockey Club is the largest racecourse group in the United Kingdom as it operates 15 racecourses.
This partnership will result in a significant British presence at the upcoming Dubai World Cup Carnival on January 3, 2025.
Jumeirah Stakes sponsored by The Jockey Club
“Jumeirah Stakes”, a race worth AED 300,000 for 3-year-old horses over 1400 meters on the turf, will be renamed the “Jumeirah Stakes sponsored by The Jockey Club.”
The Jockey Club manages world-renowned racecourses such as:
Rowley Mile and July Course in Newmarket, Cheltenham Racecourse, Epsom Downs Racecourse, and Aintree Racecourse.
As part of the partnership, representatives from Dubai Racing Club will visit the famous Newmarket racecourse on July 11, 2025.
This visit will take place during July Festival, where the club will sponsor “Dubai Racing Club Handicap Stakes” over 1000 meters.
Promoting International Horse Racing
Erwan Charpy, Director of Operations and International Relations at the Club, said that horse racing has become a global sport more than ever before.
He welcomed the cooperation with The Jockey Club to strengthen relations between the UAE and the United Kingdom.
Sophie Able, Director of Newmarket Racecourses and International Relations at The Jockey Club, welcomed the collaboration with Dubai Racing Club in 2025.
She added that The Jockey Club will work with Dubai Racing Club so they promote each other’s racing programs to owners, trainers, and racing fans.
This new partnership is a special step in promoting international horse racing.
It also fosters stronger ties between the UAE and the UK.
