Munir Sayed Ibrahim Restored His Bag At Dubai International Airport within 30 Minutes
The General Administration of Airport Security at Dubai Police successfully returned a bag belonging to an Egyptian traveler.
His bag contained all his belongings, travel documents, and $7,000.
After he mistakenly took another similar bag from a passenger at Dubai International Airport.
Dubai Police returned the bag to him within half an hour of receiving his report.
Brigadier Hamouda Al Suwaidi Al Amiri, Director of the General Administration of Airport Security, stated:
“The Egyptian traveler, Munir Sayed Ibrahim, rushed in fear and anxiety to the airport police office in the arrivals hall.
He reported the accidental loss of his travel bag after taking another passenger’s bag.
Due to their similar appearance and color.
He explained that the bag contained $7,000 along with his belongings and travel documents.
He added that he had to catch another flight to China in just one hour.”

Dubai Police Saved An Egyptian Traveler from Losing His Next Flight to China
Brigadier Al Amiri confirmed that the on-duty officer immediately formed a team.
The team traced the traveler’s movements from the moment he entered the airport and reviewed surveillance footage.
And also contacted Emirates Airlines, on which the traveler had arrived from Cairo Airport.
The investigation revealed that the bag had been swapped with that of an Egyptian passenger who was still in the corridors of Dubai Airport waiting for her relatives.
She was also unaware of the mix-up and was surprised when police officers approached her, identified themselves and explained the mistake.
Then handed her the correct bag.
Meanwhile, traveler Munir Sayed Ibrahim received his bag and was able to catch his flight to China.
