Dubai is a place where great minds can transform their ideas into reality, Mona Al Marri, Director General of the Government of Dubai Media Office, said on Thursday.
Regional and Global thought leaders will address the first one-day INSEAD National Alumni Association UAE Leadership Forum, being held on October 31st.
Policymakers, government officials, academics and business leaders will be among those to speak on regional issues during the event.
The economic and social shifts currently taking place will be high on the agenda, as well as technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
A statement from the Dubai Media Office said that those on the frontline of shaping the future of the region will share diverse ideas on sustainable economic growth to create a brighter future.
INSEAD is one of the world’s leading and largest graduate business schools, with campuses in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
“Dubai provides talented people the infrastructure, support and stability needed to turn their ideas into reality,” Al Marri told an audience of regional and business leaders, policymakers, government officials and thought leaders at the Forum.
“The Government of Dubai Media Office’s partnership with INSEAD to host this Forum is consistent with our spirit of dialogue and knowledge exchange,” she said.
She spoke about the announcement of the Eight Principles of Governance by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in January, which redefined his vision for Dubai.
