2nd Dubai FinTech Summit Kicks Off, Bringing Together Industry Leaders to Explore Innovation and Challenges
2nd Dubai FinTech Summit commenced today at Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Vice President and Minister of Finance, President of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
The summit explores the latest innovations and challenges facing the financial technology (fintech) sector.
Organized by DIFC and running for two days, the summit brings together:
- Over 8,000 decision-makers
- 300 thought leaders
- More than 200 exhibitors
A Thriving Fintech Landscape:
The summit convenes as the global fintech industry witnesses rapid growth.
Moreover, fintech industry value is expected to reach $608 billion globally by 2029.
This is according to Mordor Intelligence, a market research and consulting firm.
Dubai FinTech Summit will provide startups, investors, and industry leaders with a platform to connect and capitalize on the growing fintech market in the region and beyond.
This comes as startups flourish and investment capital increases in the region’s fintech sector.
Highlighting that the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is home to over 800 fintech startups worth $15.5 billion, according to data from Dealroom.
Key Themes at Dubai FinTech Summit:
The summit’s main themes will revolve around financial empowerment and green finance and its impact.
As well as investment leadership, regulatory frameworks, global financial dynamics, and “FinTech 2.0,” reflecting the transformation the financial sector is undergoing, driven by innovation, inclusivity, and impact.
Dubai FinTech Summit will host a series of panel discussions.
In addition to side dialogues featuring a lineup of local and international speakers.

The first edition of Dubai FinTech Summit attracted over 5,000 executives from over 90 countries.
Including more than 1,000 investors and over 150 speakers.
It also witnessed the signing of over 20 memoranda of understanding between global financial industry leaders.
