Dubai Chamber Office – Bogotá Supports UAE-Colombia Ties
Dubai International Chamber has inaugurated a new overseas representative office in Bogotá, Colombia.
This move aims to strengthen economic ties and foster growing trade and investment links between the business communities of Dubai and Colombia.
Mentioning that Dubai Chamber overseas representative offices have increased to 33, after the opening of Colombia office.
Dubai Global Initiative
This step is part of “Dubai Global initiative”.
The initiative aims to establish 50 representative offices worldwide by 2030.
Mentioning that it contributes to solidifying Dubai’s pivotal role as a leading global business hub.
By attracting foreign direct investment and supporting the international expansion of Dubai-based companies into 30 new markets worldwide.
Moreover, the opening of the new office coincides with the growth of economic relations between Dubai and Colombia.
Non-oil trade between the two countries reached AED 1.9 billion last year, recording an increase of 51.5% in comparison with 2022.
Adding that total active registered Colombian companies reached 131 by the end of September 2024.
Latin American Market … A Key Promising Market
Commenting on the opening of Dubai Chamber – Colombia, His Excellency Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, Director General of Dubai Chambers, said:
