Dubai Cares and ALEC Partner to Support Education Initiatives
After a successful partnership in 2023, ALEC Engineering and Contracting renewed its commitment to Dubai Cares organization.
Mentioning that ALEC refurbished classrooms and school grounds for Al Ahliya Charity School in Ajman through the last partnership.
ALEC will provide an additional AED 600,000, according to the new three-year agreement.
This contribution will be under Dubai Cares’ “Volunteer in UAE” initiative.
Learning environments in three non-profit schools in the UAE by 2026 is going to be improved by ALEC.
This increases its total contribution to AED 800,000.
It is also expanding support to four schools within the country.
Renovation of Al Ahliya Charity School in Dubai
As part of this extended partnership, ALEC recently contributed to the renovation of Al Ahliya Charity School in Dubai.
130 volunteers gathered on November 9 to undertake various enhancements, including:
- Setting up classroom tables
- Relocating new school furniture
- Upgrading the teachers’ lounge with new tables, chairs, and cabinets
- Creating a new sensory room equipped with educational tools for students of determination.
- The volunteers also painted educational murals to enrich the school’s visual appeal.
The joint efforts aim to revitalize Al Ahliya Charity School in Dubai.
It is also fostering an empowering educational environment that enables students to reach their full potential.
Those enhancements will not only improve the school’s facilities.
But also provide a supportive space where students can advance academically and personally.
Dubai Cares Efforts To Support UN Sustainable Development Goal 4
Dubai Cares plays an important role in supporting to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 4.
This goal aims at ensuring inclusive and quality education.
Besides promoting lifelong learning for everyone by 2030.
ALEC shares these values as a participant in the United Nations Global Compact initiative.
By supporting responsible corporate citizenship and promoting global social and environmental principles.
ALEC has also pledged AED 186,000 to support Dubai Cares “Adopt a School” initiative.

A New School in Nepal, Funded by ALEC
Over the next three years, this funding will be allocated to build a school with three classrooms in a rural village in western Nepal.
Providing 90 kids access to quality education.
The program does also include adult literacy and education classes, benefiting around 40 local adults.
This collaboration exemplifies ALEC’s commitment to creating sustainable change.
It is also reinforcing its role as a socially responsible corporate leader dedicated to promoting inclusive education both in the UAE and abroad.
