As per reports, Dubai Airports will establish a control center at Dubai World Central (Al Maktoum Airport).

He pointed out that they are committed to working closely with airlines and other stakeholders to promote sustainable aviation practices.

Dubai Airports has set ambitious goals to significantly reduce carbon emissions from the operation of Dubai International Airport by 2030.
And also to focus on energy, water, waste, and fuel consumption.

The initiatives also include efficiency and effectiveness improvements such as improved lighting and a commitment to diverting 60% of waste from landfills.
Therefore, the initiatives involve adopting clean energy solutions, waste management, adopting environmentally friendly transportation models, using sustainable aviation fuel, renewable energy sources, and addressing the use of energy used for lighting, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

Regarding the Dubai Airshow, the Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Airports said:

“The show is of great importance for a variety of reasons.
Because it first and foremost enhances the position of the UAE as a global center for aviation and aerospace.
And it is also an important economic engine for the United Arab Emirates, generating billions of dollars in revenue.

Dubai Airshow has a history of successful deals, with the previous show witnessing deals, partnership agreements.
In addition to memorandums of understanding worth more than $70 billion.”
