Dubai Airports confirms readiness for exceptional season of congestion during COP28 climate conference
As per reports, Dubai Airports will establish a control center at Dubai World Central (Al Maktoum Airport).

Dubai Airports has set ambitious goals to significantly reduce carbon emissions from the operation of Dubai International Airport by 2030.

The initiatives also include efficiency and effectiveness improvements such as improved lighting and a commitment to diverting 60% of waste from landfills.
Therefore, the initiatives involve adopting clean energy solutions, waste management, adopting environmentally friendly transportation models, using sustainable aviation fuel, renewable energy sources, and addressing the use of energy used for lighting, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
