H.E Dr. Shina Ansari, Iranian Vice President Tours Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
H.E Dr. Shina Ansari, Iranian Vice President and Head of the Environmental Protection Organization, visited Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
She was accompanied by His Excellency Reza Amiri, Ambassador of Iran to the UAE, and their delegation.
During their tour at the mosque, H.E Dr. Youssef Al Obaidly, Director General of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center, has guided H.E Dr. Shina Ansari and the accompanying delegation.
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Cultural Mission
They learned about the mosque’s cultural mission, which promotes coexistence, tolerance, and openness to others.
This mission is derived from the values and virtues of the founding father.
It also emphasizes the significant role of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center in promoting the true essence of Islamic culture and building bridges with diverse cultures around the world, distinguishing it from other places of worship.
The delegation was also briefed on the history of the grand structure’s establishment.
As well as the mosque’s aesthetics and the exquisite Islamic architectural arts that are vividly evident in all its corners.
Arts of Islamic civilization
They explored the unique artifacts it houses and the finest examples of Islamic civilization’s arts.
In addition to the architectural designs that have converged in the mosque’s design.
Reflecting the beauty and harmony of different cultures in one creative work.
At the end of the visit, the mosque presented the guest with an artistic piece inspired by the mosque’s architectural arts.
Featuring a verse from the Quran written in Kufic script, a style used in the decoration of the mosque’s domes.
Dr. Shina Ansari also received a copy of the book “Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque: Flow of Peace”.
This book takes readers on a photographic journey showcasing the architectural beauty of the mosque.
Through a collection of award-winning photos from the “Spaces of Light” competition, highlighting the mosque’s unique architectural art.
