DP World Jeddah Logistics Park at Jeddah Islamic Port Soon
DP World and the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) have announced the signing of a 30-year agreement to build a state-of-the-art, port-centric Logistics Park at the Jeddah Islamic Port.
The agreement value exceeds SAR 500 million ($133 million).
About the Logistics Park:
The new facility will be the largest integrated logistics park in the Kingdom, with an area of 415,000 square meters.
It will include:
- A multi-purpose warehouse complex of 185,000 square meters
- 390,000 pallet positions
- A rooftop solar power plant capable of generating 20 megawatts of renewable energy
DP World Jeddah Logistics Park will be linked to DP World’s South Container Terminal at Jeddah Islamic Port.
Mentioning that it is currently undergoing a major upgrade that will increase its capacity to 5 million TEUs.
The project is expected to be completed in two phases, with the first phase opening in the second quarter of 2025.
