DGEP Plan is resuming assessments for the year 2020 cycle

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum approved the plan to resume evaluations for the 2020 cycle of the Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP). Program evaluations previously scheduled for February and March 2020, have been postponed because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

DGEP Plan aims to accelerate Dubai’s progress

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan said that the new DGEP Plan implements the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to speed up Dubai’s progress by keeping pace with global changes and taking advantage of the opportunities it provides. DGEP Plan Team designs Exceptional Assessment Form 2020

The program team has designed an exceptional evaluation form for the 2020 edition based on the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The alternative model encourages government agencies to enhance planning and ensure a high level of readiness to adapt to the changing environment.

The evaluation form for the 2020 edition of the program focuses on how government agencies are dealing with the epidemic and their levels of creativity and proactiveness in dealing with the impact of the crisis. It will also assess their efforts to ensure that services are provided without interruption. In addition, the new evaluation form will assess the ability of government agencies to recover from the impact of COVID-19 and prepare for the post-crisis phase.
