ADNOC Announces The Start of Crude Oil Production in Belbazem Offshore Area
ADNOC has announced the start of crude oil production from Belbazem offshore area.
Moreover, ADNOC had always been committed to meet the growing global demand for energy responsibly.
Al Yasat Petroleum is responsible for managing the Belbazem offshore area.
Mentioning that Al Yasat is a joint venture between ADNOC and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).
ADNOC Employs AI and Digital Technologies
ADNOC is adopting an innovative approach to develop the area.
This is by the focus on leveraging integration and synergies in operational activities in neighboring fields.
It also employs the latest artificial intelligence and digital technologies to raise efficiency, enhance safety, and reduce emissions and costs.
Abdulmunim Saif Al Kindy, Executive Director of Exploration, Development, and Production at ADNOC, said:
“Starting crude oil production from the Belbazem offshore area reflects the success of the strategic partnership between ADNOC and CNPC.
It also reflects the strong and long-standing bilateral relations between the UAE and China.”
ADNOC’s goal is Reaching 5 Million Barrels per day by 2027
ADNOC focuses on reducing the environmental impact of its operations in its ongoing quest.
Which is part of its continuous efforts to maximize the value of Abu Dhabi’s resources.
With the aim at ensuring a secure, reliable, and responsible supply of energy to customers locally and internationally.

Belbazem offshore field crude oil production capacity is expected to gradually increase.
Mentioning that it will reach 45,000 barrels of light crude oil per day.
In addition to 27 million standard cubic feet of associated gas per day.
This will contribute to achieving ADNOC’s goal of reaching 5 million barrels per day by 2027 and enabling the UAE to achieve gas self-sufficiency.
