COP28 Official Activities at the Blue Zone in Dubai Expo City.
The 28th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change resumed its official activities in the Blue Zone on Thursday morning.
This was after suspending its official meetings on Wednesday as scheduled by the conference agenda.
The Schedule of the remaining days of COP28.
Yesterday, the Youth, Children, Education, and Skills Day events kicked off.
Today, Saturday, will see the Natural Resources, Land Use, and also Oceans Day events.
Followed by the Food, Agriculture, and Water Day events on Sunday.
While the final negotiations will take place on December 11 and 12.
They will also be followed by a statement announcing the results of the conference, agreements, and final decisions.
It is expected that the recommendations and initiatives witnessed by COP28 will contribute to mitigating the expected consequences and effects of climate change.

Expected Impact of COP28 Official activities at the Blue Zone.
In fact, COP28 first few days witnessed many exceptional events and decisions.
For example, the UAE has raised over $83 billion in financial commitments to climate action.

His Excellency Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and UAE Special Envoy for Climate Change, said:

We are committed to working with our partners to deliver ambitious outcomes that will help build a more sustainable future for all.”
Ms. Patricia Espinosa, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, Said:
“COP28 is a time for action.
We need to see countries step up their commitments to reduce emissions and build resilience to the impacts of climate change.
We also need to ensure that everyone has a fair chance to benefit from the transition to a net-zero emissions world.”
