
UAE launches the Climate and Environment Exhibition and Forum
The World Future Energy Summit announced the creation of a new event called the Climate and Environment Exhibition and Forum, to be hosted by the summit in partnership with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, which specializes in examining issues of adaptation to climate considerations and the regulations.

Climate and Environment Exhibition and Forum will be held between 5 and 7 April 2021 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), and it brings together many experts, researchers, innovators, officials, companies, and all actors in developing the frameworks to confront climate change and limit its effects in various parts of the world, and the forum will provide a space for presentation and participation The latest technologies, ideas and practices adopted to prepare the various international and local systems to deal with climate change.
The Climate and Environment Exhibition and Forum reflects the continuous efforts of the United Arab Emirates towards sustainable development, guided by the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations, and aims to establish the global leadership position of the UAE as an effective engine and springboard for change and development in the areas of climate and environment and to address local challenges resulting from the global effects of climate change.

The Assistant Undersecretary for the Green Development and Climate Change Sector at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, Engineer Fahed Al Hammadi, said: The addition of the Climate and Environment Exhibition and Forum to the activities of the World Future Energy Summit is a testament to the leadership role of the UAE in the global debate centered on climate change, climate resilience and sustainable development.

The agenda of the Climate and Environment Exhibition and Forum will include the establishment of a virtual forum on January 20, 2021, to discuss topics related to stimulating and adapting to the global economy with low carbon as a natural situation to be built upon, in the presence of several experts and officials who will discuss the opportunities that the gradual transformation towards a low carbon economy brings.
A report issued by the Global Commission on Adaptation (GCA) showed that an investment of $1.8 trillion in climate change adaptation around the world between 2020 and 2030 could lead to net revenues of $7.1 trillion.
