On the sidelines of CERAWeek 2025, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology met with Doug Burgum, U.S. Secretary of the Interior and Chairman of the U.S. Energy Council, and Chris Wright, U.S. Secretary of Energy.
CERAWeek took place between 10 and 14 March at Houston, Texas.
It is one of the world’s premier platforms for discussing energy challenges and the future of the sector.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of ensuring reliable and affordable energy supplies.
They also explored ways to leverage the capabilities of XRG international investment company.

As part of his participation in CERAWeek 2025, Dr. Al Jaber held extensive meetings with leaders from the energy, investment, and technology sectors.
As well as senior government officials, to deepen strategic partnerships and strengthen the path toward sustainable economic growth.
During his keynote speech at the event, Al Jaber highlighted the necessity of implementing stable, long-term energy policies to meet the growing global demand.
He reaffirmed that energy is the primary driver of economic growth and a key enabler of human development.

Diversifying Energy Mix
Dr. Sultan Al Jaber also stressed the importance of taking practical steps to boost investment.
Besides developing supportive policies for the energy sector to help individuals and communities in achieving growth and progress.
Additionally, Al Jaber underscored the need to diversify the energy mix to keep pace with the rapidly increasing global demand.
He emphasized that all energy options should remain on the table to ensure the sector’s sustainability.
