The aim of the “Humanitarian Knights Forum” was to honor the Syrian Arab Red Crescent volunteers in four Syrian provinces.
As part of the “Chivalrous knight 2 ” operation launched by the Joint Operations Command at the Ministry of Defense.
The Emirates Red Crescent organized the “Humanitarian Knights Forum”.
Since Syrian Arab Red Crescent volunteers participated in the UAE’s humanitarian and relief efforts to alleviate the suffering of affected families by 6th Feb earthquake.
Officials and volunteers from both sides attended the forum.
During the forum, the volunteers who made great efforts in relief operations were honored.
For sure His Excellency Engineer Aamer Ismail Hilal, governor of Lattakia has attended the forum.
Along with Mohammed Shamaa, Deputy President of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
And Mohammed Khamees Al Kaabi, head of the UAE Red Crescent delegation in Syria.
The governor of Lattakia praised the role of humanitarian workers in alleviating the impact of the humanitarian catastrophe caused by the earthquake.
Also he emphasized the depth of the relationship between the Emirati and Syrian people.
As per the statement of the Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad; “all Syrians say that the way the UAE helps is full of love.”
While, the head of the UAE Red Crescent delegation in Syria emphasized that the forum is an initiative to honor 200 volunteers from the brothers in the Syrian Red Crescent.
As they were the best support for the UAE Red Crescent in relief operations in Syria.
Also, he pointed out that the UAE continues its efforts to support its brothers in the Syrian Arab Republic during the recovery and rehabilitation phase.
Since the UAE Red Crescent still supports the Syrians by providing food, medical supplies, and medicine.
Also by identifying the needs of different sectors, within several axes that aim to provide psychological and social support to alleviate their suffering.
